The micro-credential in Data Analysis for social science prepares students to access, analyze, and display quantitative data. Students will gain practical, hands-on experience with data gathering, analysis, and visualization techniques commonly used in program evaluation, policy analysis and other applied social research. Students will be able to produce professional quality data summaries that are analytically sound and effective forms of communication.

Students must earn a minimum “C” grade in all courses that count toward this micro-credential. Prior to being awarded this credential, students are required to submit an artifact demonstrating their ability to access, analyze and display data professionally.
