People are living longer than ever before and globally, populations are aging as well. In the US, the population of older adults is becoming more diverse. In the Aging Studies concentration, students explore the aging process of various groups and populations.
Data Analytics
Offered as a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science Major
Increasingly, organizations are realizing the benefits of analyzing data to discern more efficient ways to manage their businesses. The Data Analytics concentration will prepare students with the skills necessary to analyze and interpret data for improving healthcare systems and processes and consequently help improve care for patients.
Healthcare Personnel Management
Offered as a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science Major
The Personnel Management concentration will help students understand the issues and challenges encountered when managing the diversity of people and employment positions involved in the healthcare industry.
Population, Public, and Community Health Concentration
Offered as a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science Major
Students are introduced to the responsibilities and rewards of maintaining, improving, and providing quality healthcare to varied populations, groups, and communities in the Community Public Health concentration. This includes understanding the assorted cultural and particular attitudes about healthcare.
