Additional Requirements
Students will be required to earn a minimum of a C- in all courses taken in advancement of the micro-credential.
Learning Outcomes/Competencies
Upon completion of this micro-credential, learners will be able to:
- Develop hands-on sustainable food production skills through farm-based instruction and apprenticeship.
- Recognize and analyze trends in sustainable food system design including direct marketing, shipping efficiencies, waste reductions, and employer equity.
- Establish connections between earth systems, biological systems, and social systems in the emergence of food system function.
- Organize and implement local food system programs designed to improve sustainability.
