With that in mind, we design our program and class schedule around our students and we select faculty who are student-focused.<\/p>\n<p>Most required classes are held on Mondays and Wednesdays only, excluding summer term classes. The two-year class schedule is given to students at the Fall orientation. Students demonstrate basic competence in utilizing psychotherapy skills fundamental to all theoretical approaches, conduct an intake interview with an initial assessment and case conceptualization, and facilitate counseling sessions with classmates using role-play scenarios under supervision.<\/li>\n<li>Students are introduced to the theory and practice of group counseling.
